Definitely not tier 3, tier 3 are all the big 4 and they do proposals typically for consulting, Accenture more on implementation as per other tier 2, then we have the tier 1 MBB which are consulting consulting, providing solutions and all.

Oh sry. But Accenture isn’t tier 3 right cos all sources park it under tier 2. Probably in terms of the name, tier 3 are all the big 4s and Accenture’s salary is way more than that of big 4. So it is tier 2 but just not paying as high as fellow counterparts in this tier?
I’ve seen on LinkedIn where Accenture consulting employees move on to MBB but not for big 4. So I guess the constituting arm of Accenture is still considered good?

Imagine telling an ATK or OW guy that Accenture is in the same league as his coy! He'd be laughing his ass off.

No way acn is tier 3….it’s a freaking Fortune 500 company and has built a name for itself, how are you comparing it to big 4. The pay itself is already incomparable, let alone the name of the company.
If it’s the same as big 4, why would so many FCH grads or grads from NUS, NTU, SMU wanna go into Accenture over big 4? Accenture’s internships are already much harder to get than big 4 so let alone their full time roles.

Accenture paying a lot more than Big 4 consulting meh? Thought EY Parthenon already paying low to mid 4s?
Accenture Strategy used to be somewhat respectable but since the merger with Accenture MC who knows what the industry thinks of them now.

Bro I did a google search on the tiers in consulting and that’s what the top sources state. And you say Accenture is same as big 4 how does this even make sense? Big 4 (ignoring the ey-p and strategy& etc) consulting aren’t even at the same stage as that of Accenture’s. Accenture is on the implementation phase while the big 4 focus more on documentation and proposal phase….if they are the same why would acn bother to pay more?? And why would everyone pick Accenture over big 4? Big 4 consulting employees are those who can’t make it into Ang better consulting firms lol

LOL are you retarded? Fortune 500 doesn't mean anything nowadays. Even a boutique like Delta Partners is leagues ahead of Accenture in both prestige and comp.
Accenture doesn't pay much more than EY-Parthenon or Monitor Deloitte btw.
And no FCHs go for MBB or at least the tier 2s. It's more of the second uppers or magna cum louders that go into Accenture.

Do you know big 4 have different kinds of consulting? Strategy& and ey Parthenon are counted as strategy side but not the usual management or tech consulting in their big 4. If you’re comparing strategy side then Accenture strategy is paying higher than its usual consulting track. But just merely comparing management and tech consulting in Accenture to the big 4s, it’s above that of big 4.
