I had applied for global treasury and investment banking, and i did not receive any calls from HR nor invitation to AC prior to the networking session.
At the networking session, I thought my chance was pretty much gone when I found out that others had interviews and invitation to AC. As there were plenty of time to talk to the division(s) that you are interested in during the networking event, so I decided to talk to another division which I am also interested in but could not apply due to the 2 choices constraint in our cover letter, and hopefully leave an impression with the business representative.
To my surprise, I received a call from HR today and was invited to a face to face interview this week with the division that I did not apply for initially. So guys, cheer up!! The chances are still there if you tried your best at networking.

Hi guys,
I got invited to the OCBC MA program networking event about 2 weeks after doing the SHL test. The actual event was last week Sept 12, 2013, I think. About 40-50 people were there. Most had completed or completing their MBAs. There was a 45-min talk followed by a speed networking session (4mins per interviewer).
Not sure what happens next.
