I just go through 2nd interview this week, 2 days later HR call say all.went well and request for HR contact for checks.. im currently in ministry but under diploma track, so wanted to move to.other ministry or stay board with degree track

Then don't come to government sector. Stay in private sector lah. Private sector more stable and less vulnerable to economic downturns mah...stay there lah...why want to come to government sector...

Go or stay in private sector. So scared of government sector contract only... Just go to private sector lah... private sector gives you more job stability and job security for life compared to government sector. No need to come to government sector for you, ok?

If HR says still in the midst of processing the application, does that mean they have intention to offer? I got another offer from private, dont know should i reject private and wait for this job as i really like this job role.

i was in a stat board with a degree. Now they flat out give contract to all staff and didn give perm after 2 years. Left the place asap, its a SB in woodlands. The junior staffs feedback why no promotions or perm and only got "if you work hard, you'll get it".

This statement have different meaning depending on the stages you current at.
Will require more information.

You done with final interview? Submitted all request docu such as payslip etc?
Have HR verbally offer you?

Finished the final interview and had submitted all documents requested such as G50 form, medical form, payslip etc 1 week after interview. HR didnt verbally offer, only say in the midst of processing my application
