It had been one month since i went for the interview and 2 weeks ago heard that they are doing referral check. Till now totally no news and i dont know should i continue to wait or just go apply for other jobs.

I applied to a ministry. Last heard is that they are doing referral check and that they are checking with my current HR on some stuffs. I am now under ministry. Sigh i dont know to give up oor continue wait

I was being informed that reference check take 3-4 weeks. So I think maybe on the mid 3rd week can follow up again? For my case, my current manager received the cross reference check email after HR called me 10 days later informing of the cross reference check

How come all cases from India?? In Singapore, Indians made up around 7-8% of the citizens population (definitely less than 10% even with PR added inside).

So, how is it possible that less than 10% made up 100% of the cases imported yesterday? And then, how can less than 10% of population made up most easily 1/2 of more of the imported cases?

Can check did you apply to ministry or SB? I heard that it could take up to few months to get back. For me, the interview went ok but i had no confidence that they will want me. So i dont know should wait or just give up.
