Does your verbal offer comes with a package as well?

You can ask if the HR didnt give you a timeline. Wont backfire la. If it's yours, it's meant to be. Is yours a min or sb?

HR when she called me she ask if I'm confident to take up the job. If yes, she will cross ref with my company HR before coming back to me. At the same time ask me to sent her my current payslip, expected pay and what not then didn't tell me how long I should wait for her reply. Didn't tell me how much they should pay me also. I'm from sb going to sb

Given that it has been 2 weeks, you can definitely follow up with the HR I feel.

Keen to process has different meaning in different stages. Here i assume is after final interview.
Verbal: 95% in (why not 99/100% because of last min pull out- example position make redundant).
Keen to process: 75% in (unless you fail security clearance/medical or reference check). Reason because you already know your background including security and medical. Reference is also put in by yourself. 25% is mainly due to security clearance. If you know you have good security background + health, your chances is as high as 95%.
As for 50% i would state as long as you selected for final interview, you are at 50%

What do they do for security clearance?

Hi everyone. I understand that new hires in a Ministry will be issued with a PS Card for identification purposes.
Can I give HR my ready made passport sized photograph to be used for the PS Card? Or HR will arrange for a session for me to come down in person to be photo shot by a photographer?
Thank you.

Week 0: Received email from I believe is one of my future colleague for preliminary interview.
Week 1: Interview with future colleagues up to DD level.
Week 2:Received email from HR indicating I was shortlisted and invited for formal interview
Week 4: Interview with HR recruiter, DD, director and group director
Week 4.5: Received verbal offer. To wait 2-3 weeks for approvals and clearances
Week 8: Received offer with salary package and offer.
All in all is around 2 months with 2 public holidays
Hope these are helpful.

Surprise you still around, haha. Usually once offered, ppl will leave this forum.
I remember you mention you waited close to a month before receiving offer with salary package.
I'm still waiting for mine with today marking the fifth week. Will continue to wait. Another guy applying for the same sb claim waited for 8 weeks without reply, wondering whether he's still around and how's he doing now.

I wanna help people. Which is one of the reason I join public service. Which sb or min u are applying to? 5 weeks seems quite long unless your security clearance is of higher level.
