Went for last round of interview today. Was told that I was the only candidate for this round.
However, I saw that the career@gov portal refresh the previously expired advertised role again today for applications.
Does that mean that I do not have chance for the role anymore? Or isit a normal process from Hr that so long no contract signed will keep refreshing?

If you are having trouble financially, be careful of financial embarrassment. Declaration is needed, if u don't...more trouble and your pb will get withheld as you will be under disciplinary action.
Speaking from someone who went through this pain. Good luck.

Are you place on 1 year contract at the Ministry when transfer from stat board? I was told I will be placed on 1 year contract not perm staff since I'm from stat board. Now I'm not very sure if I should go through all these hassle for a 1 year contract since the HR mention whether to convert to perm or extend contract is subject to my performance next year.

hi all, HR emailed to say they will get back to me these 1-2 weeks, we had been discussing pay range over a call last week. Is it a good chance that I'll get the job or is there a possibility that they may rescind the offer? this is my first civil service application and I appreciate the advice!

most civil service jobs now offer a 1 or 2 year contract at first instance as part of a probation. Once you pass it, you will be offered a permanent position. These jobs are usually advertised as perm jobs.
There are also jobs that are advertised as contract and these are usually not renewed unless otherwise stated.
(this is just based on personal observation)
