You should be paid as per your normal until your last date, the same as you would get paid as per resigning. You start there, you get paid there. I.e ,if your end date in middle of month, then you will get paid in middle of month (or if over payroll date then hr will advise accordingly.)

Hahah i am currently also at this stage. The HR told me 2-3 weeks but today is gonna be the end of the 3rd week liao hmm.

Any idea how long MOM take to seek management approval? Received verbal offer 3 weeks ago, till now management haven’t approved? Heard after approval, will route to vital? How long does vital take to prepare contract? First time applying civil service job. Is it safe to quit without the actual contract?

Hi, can anyone advise whether this is more or less a confirmed offer and whether I can quit my job?

I got a call from HR in a SB this week, and they said they were keen to hire me. They asked me what is my expected salary and told me about bonuses that would be factored into the pay, whether or not my expected salary is negotiable. HR said will get back to me within 1.5 weeks. Can I know if this is more or less a confirmed offer, or is it still uncertain? Many thanks in advance (I would rly like to leave my current job)!

Vital will take 1-2 weeks to prepare the contract and go through the appointment formalities via zoom. In fact, the HR ask me to tender first since all the Checks and clearance have been completed, just waiting for the paperwork. Maybe you can check with your HR and see what they say?

You haven't signed any contract don't throw a letter first no matter how you hate your current company.

How long will it take after i submitted the Reference, Background and Medical Form to get a offer or something .They have called my Reference a week ago. im a fresh grad waiting for it so long.
