Just my two cents.
agree agree

i have been kept in the dark/limbo where all only give generic 1-2 weeks response/decision time line

and when it starts week 3, send email to the HR person, bo response a few times until squeeze them a bit more then rejection come out

May I ask, what are the chances that statboard HR will rescind/withdraw your offer after I have signed the letter of offer and confirmed the starting date? If they really do, what’s the usual practice and timeline they will inform you beforehand?

Does happen, but very rarely. It's rare enough that there isn't a "usual practice and timeline" so can't say for sure

Just my two cents.
I still get rejection email (without interview) from Yellow Ribbon 1 year after I applied, IPOS was 7 months, DOS was 4 months. Those that interview me till last round, no news of rejection either, but I assumed so
