It's the same if a candidate gets multiple offers, once they have decided (which I believe should not take too long), they should swiftly inform the employer as the employer need to also reach out to their other candidates.

i have been kept in the dark/limbo where all only give generic 1-2 weeks response/decision time line

and when it starts week 3, send email to the HR person, bo response a few times until squeeze them a bit more then rejection come out
