During my interview with a different statboard, i stated that i had no expectations for salary. The role is a different industry and job scope is something new to me too.
Now HR is drafting salary package and I’m thinking do I have any grounds for negotiation for a higher salary? If so, how should I do it? Will HR usually offer based on last drawn or see me as a fresh grad?

Am in the same situation as you, previously from private sector, stat board called to offer a range and said will draft and submit the package first for approval, then brief me again in a few days. For those who have successfully negotiated salary with stat board before, should I wait for them to get the proposed package approved first or negotiate before they approve anything? Also, is the title (eg. AM/M) negotiable upon their offer?

Currently working in a stat board where my monthly gross salary includes the 13th month bonus (i.e. 13th month bonus split into 12 months for payout). Should I be asking for minimum pay in my next job application based on this monthly gross salary? Thanks

Usually I heard pte sector will have rescinded job offer sometimes.
But so far I have not heard from public sectors.
Under what situation will the rescinded job offer happen in public sectors?
Under what situation is like more and less confirmed before the LOA is signed?
Earlier pasted in wrong forum so I move it here.

Not sure if anyone here can give some good advice
I have been working in the public sector for more than 10yrs and recently joined a stat board via movement policy for about 2 months. Despite only two months with the new stat board, I find myself dont really fit in the role and culture of my division/dept and I dread each work day.. Thus would like to start applying jobs again elsewhere preferably with another govt agency. I am wondering in my case, should I even need to indicate in my CV that I am now working in this new stat board (since not even 3mths yet) if I apply for other govt job? Thanks

when u say u appear to be mismatch/fit with your current stat board, in what sense?

ego?
working style?
working aura?
