More like uncommon but it happens? I know of at least 2 Teachers who are still at GEO 3 despite hitting ceiling for a couple of years already. And strangely, those that came in after them or with them have been promoted to GEO 4. Why it happens, perhaps only MOE will have the answer.

No. There are definitely officers who get promoted during their stints in hq.

HQ experience is a once in a lifetime chance to work in a corporate setting. Let you know how much you are missing out in school.

Anyone got news of promotion already? GEO3 since 2016. Got 3 Bs consecutively including this year. But seems like no news of promotion this year..

I am currently studying in NTU (not NIE) and would like to become a teacher after I graduate, because I love to be close to young children and develop close relationships with them.
How do I go about applying to become a teacher?
