Is there anything within the teachers locus of control for him/her to manage her workload and working hours?

Default Flexi-Adjunct

Hi all. I have the intention of 'converting' to flexi-adjunct after I get my 15th Year Connect payout at the end of 2024. The burnout feeling is stronger than ever and I feel that at my age, I should free up my time/mind more for other life-fulfilling stuff. So, I'm kinda gathering tips and pointers so far regarding flexi-adjunct. Much appreciated if the following questions can be answered by those of you who are already on flexi-adjunct or have some current info!

*Would I need to resign OR go for NPL OR either, in order to switch to flexi-adjunct?

*How long must I wait after receiving my Connect payout to resign/go for NPL, without incurring penalty?

*Is it difficult to get flexi-adjunct gigs nowadays?

*What's the current rate per hour for GEO 4?

*I understand I will have to forgo PB and bonuses, but are there any other perks that I would be missing out on?

Thanks in advance!

1) Manage marking load: give more MCQ assignments or asking students to peer or self mark when going through in class. Benefit: students get instant feedback as compared to teacher-marked work

2) join committees and CCAs that are of lesser workload.
