I won’t be surprised if this scheme is available and quietly made known to P and VP.
Heard of a P in the north-east primary school who disappears conveniently during office hours. No one ever knows where this P goes. Daily basis.

Because the spectrum got even wider?
Using the old express na nt system for reference
Within the same school, there are significant gaps between the t-scores of students from each of the 3 streams.
For example, for a school with a 240 tscore for express stream, an na student might have a tscore that is 30-40 points lower, and nt student with tscore that is 60-70 points lower. The difference would be a borderline failure case (scores in the 40% range) vs bad failures (scores in the 20% and below range).
In the 2 years of sbb trials, while there are students who did well, from personal observation, a significant proportion (more than half) did not.
These students struggle to meet the rigour of a more challenging syllabus. A lot were forced to drop the subject, and those success stories reported in the news, were the exception than the norm.

Chinese saying, change soup but don't change ingredients
Mindsets are still the same.
On paper, there is no stream.
In real life, there will still be unofficial streams, since admission to higher education (jc, poly) will require applicants to present their results for a certain number of subjects taken at a certain level.
If a student only take g1 g2 subjects, can apply for raffles?
No, right?

If you're a teacher with a starving family it's not a salary problem it's a spending problem

Some schools got a third VP (acad) this year. Is this a new trend of MOE increasing the number of VP positions in schools or just management bloat?
