Q: Big4 - Yearly salary increment

Used to intern at ey few years ago. Was assigned to a client in tuas. I happen to live in pioneer so thought hoseh liao, can sleep later then cab down. But the day before the engagement the senior text me say need to share cab to save money, so i need to take the train to meet her and another associate at buona vista to share cab down to the client place. wtf? That was the moment i realised that the policies and ppl in big4 really stupid af, decided to nope the fk out of the company and rejected the perm offer

Singapore how big? taxi fare should be immaterial if you consider the audit fee paid by the client. CB, taxi fare these kind of immaterial expense also want to save. At most save a few hundred dollars which is peanuts to the partners.

Not really leh. EY's FSO attrition rate damn high and is severely understaffed. Got budget but partner wants to pocket all the earnings

Best advise is dont join audit. Go for fp&a. Dont waste time here for money.
