Are there still any current auditors here? Heard some things from my senior about leaves and wanted to check if it's the same practice at all firms

What about leaves?
In audit you can take 2weeks off easily (on the period that you are not busy, then go on vacation), which i dont think u can do so in commercial

The turnover in audit is well known to be very high. The current batches of audit associates and seniors are likely those in their late twenties, born after 1996.
They aren't likely to frequent this particular forum, which is more popular among us from 198x and early 1990s.

Leave application in blue is straightforward: if that period u applying is empty ie no job plotted yet, you can just apply, no approval required. Only have to inform the planner fella who is responsible for updating your calendar.
If its already plotted then you need that job's manager's approval first, but if its like during off peak shldnt be hard to get.

Anyone here is an audit manager and your audit senior and audit associates have resigned?
Are you going tank the portfolio alone?
