Is there hiring freeze for consulting seniors? Only see openings for manager roles.

big 4 is like hand holding, and only do 1 or 2 sections, sometimes throughout the whole year do same section, or do 2 to 3 companies only, exposure is limited to what company they audit.

when does someone get slotted into a PIP list? Is it in Apr/Nov? Or is it adhoc?
