Correct me if wrong - most (>50%) stay for only 3 years.

mid tier got bond, so its not like they can leave if they want to leave
U got read overseas big 4 downsizing right? layoffs
Our local big 4 partner just riding the wave of the news even when we not hit.
Just pull up the numbers. Also who audits the townhall numbers? anyone wanna make a guess
but true, mid tier more satki than big 4 who only know vouching. Really depends on exposure also but big 4 clients usually have alot of things to vouch so associates usually spend most of their time vouching. Learn nothing after 2 years. when promote to senior already they will know.

Wow sucks to be in audit, really waste time doing vouching for 2 years. When I was an advisory associate, I alr doing walkthrough, controls testing and issue reporting with the client during my second year

the bonds is 1-2 years only which is not an issue since we only need senior and above. i think it's more because we've been saying we overhired last year and the attrition didn't come instantly after bonus, so they didn't bother hiring in aug/sep. My friends from mid tier couldn't get a single big 4 interview despite being managers/seniors.
depends on firm and team, in my first year i already had to learn to do walkthrough, controls, adjustments, all that.
