LOL what pay bump? I had to take a paycut. Accountant pay is **** yet have 300+ applicants, I was lucky to even get a job since the preference these days is candidates with commercial background. There's a reason why all the smart kids ran to study CS these days, 5k is low to them but 5k is like sky high for accountants.

Most of us already got a condo from our parents or already BTO since our first year on the job lol, that guy is probably a poly bbfa fantasizing he has a big 4 job and a xmm to BTO together with since he's so threatened by some broke ass jhk renting a room lol

There's lots of laid off people this year who are willing to accept a lower offer just to have a job in hand. Two friend's company's entire accounting dept got retrenched.

Those jhk and ceca in big 4 really last warning, audit quality worst than mid tier and local SME audit firm.

Been riding on the big 4 brand name for too long
