Audit quality not poor enough alr?
they can do vouching and help to send bank confirmation. this one no need ifrs knowledge or knowledge of journal entries. forever stuck at a1 or intern level

this is secondary school poa knowledge. those who took poa should understand this simple concept. those who didn't take poa can learn it easily

you overestimate singaporeans. there is a reason why these people did not take maths-related subjects in school and studied things like english instead.

In my school and during my time, POA is only for those people who e maths got less than 65 marks and don’t qualify to take amaths.

for those of you conned to study BAcc last time. sorry, sucks to be you. should have studied a more valuable degree. Accounting is really a field that can be picked up by self study.
I don't fully agree. I think advanced accounting (consolidation, forex, etc.) is difficult and worthwhile to learn. But, the pay for accounting/audit is indeed lower than other professions, and even more so, when we consider the amount of hours needed to grind at work.

i took both a maths and poa. both also easy to score. guaranteed distinction. Free A and no need to memorise unlike subjects like geography and history
