Default Which offer to go for? Garena vs OCBC

Hi, I got an offer from both companies recently. Same salary offered by both for similar roles as an individual contributor. Any advice out there, seems that Glassdoor rating for Garena is much better. I am mainly worried on the working culture and progression. I will be reporting to someone with less working exp in Garena, whereas in OCBC, I will be reporting to someone with much more exp.

OCBC - 21 days leave, flexi $, able to top up to cover outpatient costs for spouse, child and parents, workplace near my place
Garena - 18 days leave, upfront coverage for outpatient costs for spouse, children, maternity coverage for child delivery, workplace far from my place

Can you provide more context on your role and experience? Generally I’d take garena given there’s more growth upside and gives better portfolio of results you can showcase, but I’m biased against local banks because of the people and culture.

It's a procurement role, both in IT space but different specialisations. I have about 7 years working experience and during my interview with Garena, I did request to have a more senior position if possible, though they could only offer a junior position instead of a lead role whom I will be reporting under. I think OCBC offer would generally more align with my working experience and working culture based on initial impression with my hiring managers. But I am also attracted by Garena as a tech company and the goods reviews on Glassdoor.

In terms of benefits, Garena is better for outpatient coverage and maternity, whereas OCBC covers more leave including medical and hospitalisation.

OCBC is more stable while Garena has more potential for salary appreciation. Depends which you value more. If you're still young 30s, can try out Garena - more youngsters there.

Why not make a decision with your spouse together? He/She is the one who has to live with your decision not us.

Though personally as a single if both salary are the same I would consider the junior role as every promotion is a pay jump. It gets harder to promote with every promotion.

Previously I had a colleague with 10 years working experience joining as same rank as me as a fresh grad and he got promoted the next year.

She is ok with both, just that Garena is a tech company which I suppose the working hours will be longer and given that travelling time will also be an issue (approximately 1.5 hours) per trip.
