should be la, cos gahmen very de careful about these kind of thing. besides not many want to be teachers so they have to be careful to keep salaries competitive.

I don't see any issues discussing about salary. Spending time to teach students is the most important thing as a lecturer - but that has got nothing to do with salary. We teach well, we hope we could be pay accordingly at least in line with the salary market. We all have families to feed as well.
