as for the intake... same hackathon date for both.
the july intake might receive offer later than the jan intake. but no guarantee, i have friends who got offer 1 day after hackathon then had to wait months because their start date is damn far lol

Ohh so all Jan and July batches will be taking the same Hackathon? Weird, because I saw someone stated there's a 23rd Oct Hackathon, and now someone said there's a 30th Sep Hackathon?

yea DBS is not really good at managing things.
u can ask any of ur seeder / young seeder intern friends, they OT like crazy and the pay is damn low ( look at overall, don't just look at monthly... )

I think they OT like crazy cuz they dont know a lot of stuff. If you are really good at your stuff, you can easily 3x to 5x doing it faster than others and with better results. Take an example mobile app. You take noobs like seeders that barely pass because of low hiring bar. It will take them like 1 month or even 2 months to finish to do list app. But for someone who is really proficient at android development, they can easily finish the app in 1 week with much better results and less bug.

I am quant fin grad, offered 5.2k. probably going to refuse tho. got an FO offer from a boutique @ 6.5k
