Certainly you aren't SCB employee or you just joined.
SCB WON'T hire to promote, esp for ED level.
I've in this bank 5+ years, long enough to understand how things work.
Goldman VP is not ED, I have VP friends from GS joined SCB at band 5.
GS VP is the same as other foreign banks' VPs: barcap, deutsche, jpm, morgan stanley, etc.

Answer my own question for everyone's benefit.
IT Lead is a Band 5 (M22/M23).

If you don't mind, what is your package like and how long have you been working?

You want to know the package specifically for a SCB IT Lead Band 5? I would say someone with +8 years of experience and the salary package is around 180-210K per annum - ball park.

What did you mean by local banks being 2 grads lower than foreign bank? Does that mean SVP in Standard Chartered would be an AVP in DBS?
Also, would $200k+ for Band 4 be realistic?
|
Band 4 should be at least 300k

May I ask what is the average/usual timeline and annual salary increments at SC? lets say from analyst to associate and from associate to associate director? Thank you
