Default I think I career suicide

Posted this before in this forum about rage quitting. After reading the comments, decided to stay put in my current workplace since I need money but I think I just ‘Career suicide’ just now when I raised my voice at the senior. Have been bottling up my grievance and frustrations. Facing all the juniors who think they know more than me and trying to undermine my capability. All the frustrations just spew up until I can’t contain my anger and raised my voice at the senior. I am at a stage where I am prepared to leave the company and worse come to worse leaving without a job. Don’t think anyone can understand what grievance I have undergone. It is like you are surrounded by one gang of highly egoistic people who think they very atas and not so experienced as you but give you instruction that confuse you and make you look very bad in your work. If the senior want to complain to the big boss to sack me then go ahead lo. It is just the breaking of the letting go news that hurt other than that go find new job lo.

Sounds lke you don't have a career there in the first place. Find a new place that values your contribution and expertise rather than rotting there and keep getting undermined.

Precisely. Long story so I am not going to post here.

Other Companies is see what you can contribute to the Company. I always find this motto of a typical company annoying but ever since I joined this current company, where I can't even put what I know into practice because due to the big boss ego who restricts my capability and make me rot in office every single day with frustrations, I start to learn to appreciate those companies which actually look into each employee's contribution.

Companies make you do work because they know you can do it. My Company is opposite. The boss knows you can do it but don't let you do, just leave those fragments of unimportant job for you to do.

Don't say 'oh so free just do easy job I also want', let me tell you, it is not good for your mental health.

Sounds like a really toxic place to be in. But still, find a job first before you quit. Don't put in any effort into your current work anymore. Just do the bare minimum everyday, focus all your time on applying and going for job interviews.

If you are lucky, you can be out of there in 2 months, with a 20% pay raise. All the best.

In the process of finding. Sharing my story here to let others know the other side of a toxic environment. Not everything is about over-work. Some rare company like mine will 'under-work' you until you start doubting your own capability. This is really toxic and bad.

Also to add on. Like how you will feel when the boss strike a conversation with you and you replied but very obvious he is not interested in listening to you and went 'yah yah' to randomly agree with whatever you going to say or have said and then rushed off to talk to other staff whom he thinks are the most important staff in the company.

You can still find a different job right? Why does it matter what happened at your company? Just find a better one.
