In any case, good for you. Never easy to pass interviews. But maybe don't need to try proving your self worth so much on a forum

and actually I have no idea how I managed to get a few of these queries while applying for overseas role. Either I sent too much applications or ,if its 1, I would have understood it as company direction.
Seems like the protectionist policy of SG and the situation in HK is real

However, a few firms asked me to consider applying their SG role that is still not advertised as they are moving out of HK or setting up new BU in Asia. They mentioned will put me through interview process first.
T.T I am so sad I am p2w

Trying to justify yourself by bragging doesn't really add value to the conversation. In fact, putting you through the process or interviewing you does not guarantee anything. Just an advise - make your point without having the need to bring all these up.
Thank being said, to the guy who mentioned that Australia universities are P2W, yeah you might be right to a certain extent, but doesn't that mean that you agree that with a degree from an Australian uni, you are worth more in the job market?

Assistant PM type of roles actually do exist in some places for fresh graduates or relatively few YOE. Basically looking at allocation, performance and risk metrics, and the admin part of portfolio management (including trading & execution and others). In theory, they can call themselves PMs too. But obviously, different PMs have different discretion.
