Read many online career advice, one of which said cold-calling/emailing HR may work. But is that really the case in SG? Any HR here would like to share your view on this, that is would you get irritated when you received such cold-calls/emails?

I tried before, little to no results
It's a matter of, you can try, but not much point trying

It works! Just gotten a new job after chasing hr daily for 1 month. When I joined While having lunch hr said that they hired to make me stop bugging them
Seems like a good tactic to use so long you are thick skin enough.

Best troll reply.
In Singapore, if you do not hear from the employer after 1 month. You can consider your application to be unsuccessful.
Only shortlisted and successful candidates will be notified.

No offence, but coming from someone in an HR role in both corporates and startups.. that method would be the fastest way for you to get on the blacklist, and yes recruiters do speak to each other about the ones who spam and continuously chase us with the wrong things. There are smarter ways to stand out in a CV crowd and to get teams to notice you

Let rephrase it, if someone keeps calling you from a private number to sell you something, without properly understanding what you need, would you be cold or warm to them?
