I heard 0.5-1.5 months given out this year end Mar/early Apr for OCBC and DBS. No increment unless promoted.

Hello, I'm not from those banks but can quote that the range of bonus will typically be about ~2/3 months. You must understand that MO/BO are cost centers and not revenue generating so it is hard for the bank to pay more in terms of bonus to those functions.

well then im the ceo of goldman sachs

think it's understandable that MO/BOs don't get as much bonuses as the revenue generating arms. it's a fair risk-reward trade off basically. MO/BO jobs come with greater stability and predictability than FOs after all.

2-3 mth of bonus is not too bad. 0.5-1.5 mth is quite low. I hope it's just a temporary reduction due to COVID?

and what if it isnt a temporary reduction? what are u gonna do?

Then ask for a higher base, get it?

Heard that for BO/MO, local banks generally give higher bonuses to compensate their lower base pay.

Compared to large Western banks like JP/BOA/HSBC/Citi, local banks neither pay high salaries nor high bonuses, in fact pretty low. And it's across all functions, BO/MO/FO. But if you compare to small Asian banks like KEB/Maybank/Bank of India etc then yes local bank pay is about there.
