Compared to large Western banks like JP/BOA/HSBC/Citi, local banks neither pay high salaries nor high bonuses, in fact pretty low. And it's across all functions, BO/MO/FO. But if you compare to small Asian banks like KEB/Maybank/Bank of India etc then yes local bank pay is about there.
