4k+ but still with the shitty IB WLB. Deal flow + size are vastly different vs BBs

Dreaming sibo? Top tier BBs just revised their IB first-year pay to ~10k. Bonuses at the junior level is usually 6-9 months for these banks, perhaps higher this year due to the activity in cap mkts/m&a.

For local banks - sorry, no one with ambition to do IB would actually think about local players. Pay/bonuses less than half vis a vis GS/JPM/MS.

No one with ambition to do ANYTHING would join the local banks, period.

HSBC and Deutsche Bank are paying $9.2k for IB fresh grad.

Can confirm this - I am an IB analyst at DBS. The reason why the salary is so competitive is to ward away competition from BB. To those throwing shade, you don't know the actual salary because you never even bothered applying here.

Was an intern in ECM there. Conversion to FT only 4K LOL

Next time when IB gets outsourced to India, you'll be thankful to even be offered 3k for M&A analyst.
