In this case, VP1 is likely a very senior AVP in other local banks, given that huge base.

is it correct DBS/JPM/SCB VP = OCBC VP2?
and:
OCBC VP1 = SVP of other bank
OCBC SVP = ED of other bank?
or even higher, e.g.
OCBC SVP = junior MD of other bank
OCBC EVP = senior MD of other bank

new rank for ocbc
It will mean that OCBC’s executive vice president and Bank of Singapore’s CEO will have a new title of group managing director; OCBC’s senior vice president and Bank of Singapore’s ‘managing director 1’ will both be ‘managing director 1’; OCBC’s ‘vice president 1’ and Bank of Singapore’s managing director will both be managing director; and OCBC’s ‘vice president 2’ and Bank of Singapore’s executive director will both be executive director.

I just joined UOB as FVP in Mar 2023 getting basic 240K
I was from Standard Chartered Bank Director level (M22) drawing basic 200K
At first I thought that UOB is a poor paymaster, however I decided to pursue and give it a try.
TBH I am quite surprise and did not expect UOB can actually give me a rise as I was from foreign bank.

How many years of work experience do you have?
What is the expected bonus?

FVP with 20K base? Is that even possible? Considering the average bonus shared by previous posters (3-4 months), you will be drawing 300-320k per year. Too high to be true, no? Unless FVP is a senior title in UOB…

It’s not entirely impossible for poster to get $20k at FVP, but extremely rare I would say. Probably also needs to be prepared for very little to no pay raise when still in FVP rank, cos probably already hit or exceed the ceiling.
But yes I do know if FVP folks who are getting 17 to 18 base.

I believe FVP is 17-20k. I already said. Last 2 years, massive pay increment. As a vP1, I got 35% increment without promotion. So, I think my colleagues who are FVP and VP2 are drawing much higher now. I know they also get 2-3k increment for last 2 years.
UOB was a poor paymaster. But I dun think now they are a poor paymaster. I have never get such a high increment in another organisation I worked in till I worked in UOB.
