I was in DBS FO role as an SA with 4-5 years of experience and drawing above 7k. I also understand that there are other AVP in my department who were drawing about the same as me. So the range varies.
Fastest anyone can become an AVP in DBS is after 4 years. 2 years in MA programme and then 2 years as SA. Correct me if I'm wrong.

FO with 4-5 years drawing 7k is pretty shitty. How’s bonus?

If 7k for FO with 4-5 years of experience is shitty, do you mind sharing what you think is a good salary base for local banks FO?
I'm not sure if you've been living under a rock but that's pretty much the situation in local banks (DBS, UOB, OCBC). You do know you're in a local bank forum thread right? Just making sure you're in the right place.
Happy to hear others' inputs.

Please... VP should be more than 6.7k, let alone a FVP.

MO/BO no exp already start 4k. 4-5 years of exp I'm pretty sure they are close to 7k.
Anyway, how's bonus? Just curious.

Paiseh. When you talk about math I thought you really referring to mathematics.
Example:
UOB (MA) Ops - 1st year 4.3k
After 2 years, promoted to next pay grade at 5k minimum.
After another 2 years, promoted to next pay grade at 6k-6.5k minimum.
1 year later, as I have phrase it, would be "close to" 7k.
If you're OP, how's bonus given that you're earning a good 50% less in base as compared to peers in BBs/international banks?
