Happy to hear where I've gone wrong. Have many friends in MO/BO Ops programme in both BBs and Local Banks.

Why would I be salty of a 7k FO job with 5 years of exp? That’s really low.

Hi I just recently moved from a local bank to a BB and am shocked at the trading restrictions it placed even for MO and BO.(Need to get approval from management/compliance and hold for 30days etc.) Is that the case for most foreign banks,even for MO and BO? I am an active trader and trading income forms a huge part of my monthly income....

No one actually declares every single trade beforehand. Just declare your brokerage accounts and avoid day trading if possible.

You r required to declare the trades u want to make ,get approval and execute within 3days failing which u need to get approval again..At least for the private bank I was in last time.Can only buy ETF directly etc.Thats why some of my colleagues quit banking and went into commodities industries. Will get warning letter of caught.

I am in FO of a bank, no holding period requirement. but I still need to get approval and execute trades relating to that counter within 10 days, then need to ask for approval again.

Because attaining the above is going to be a pipe dream for someone like you who has no clue of how the working world is like. The fact that you look down on local FO pay and has no clue of how the bonus is like for FO hahaha good luck in your final semester at school, boy. Btw, local bank FO is on average 4-6 months bonus for M&A, ECM, and even corp banking. Sharing it to you so you can keep dreaming.
