If I were to use the ex CE as a benchmark, then the current CE really has nothing to justify his position.

It's a good place to relax and retire in. Esp now during work from home, you can lobo and nobody will disturb you.

But if you're looking for career advancement then this is the last place to be.

Agreed, it usually takes me 1 to 2 hours to clear all my emails then it's free time for the rest of the day.

so good? my department is working day and night to accommodate the ever-changing "strategies" and "ideas" from bosses. in short, indecisiveness.

Have to scrub down on how many hours a day is spent doing actual work. Not like some middle mgmt who attend meetings and consider themselves packed because they have lots of meetings everyday.

Agree. At least when it was still Steve Leonard, he is actual tech experience, tech understanding - see how he rose then-IDA up. He had his faults too but at the very least, he had the correct understanding of tech, the vision for where then-IDA needed to go, and how to get it there by building up the right places etc.

The following CEs... well...

The public always bashing SPH's CEO who's an ex SAF general but if you are from IMDA, you will know that our CEO who's also an ex SAF general is much more jialat.
