contacting hr is fine because they are obliged to only give accurate documented info. but I feel contacting supervisor is unfair for employees because the assessment could be biased (because of not-so-good relationships) or it could alert your supervisor of your current job-hunt which will jeopardise your otherwise-good relationship with him/her...

That is why it is important to build a strong working relationship with your supervisor, and that you'll be comfortable to tell him/her even if you're intending to leave. Good supervisors will help you in their recommendations, but I've also seen my fair share of back-stabbing done by them.

It is unfair, but that's how public sector is. Sometimes, you'll be surprised to know that your current supervisor may be friends with your potential supervisor in the new org. This is due to the rotations/transfer of people within the public service, and the networking sessions available.

Default MTI final interview

Hello, next week I am going for the final round interview with MTI. Can anyone tell me what to expect? The first two rounds are fine but I am worried about the last one.

Don't know if my current pay is above what they will offer.

Starting would probably be about 2.2-2.4k with ns. Not sure about increment, but from my knowledge, dip holders in public service eventually get a degree, from unisim or otherwise in order to ups their salary.

this is unrelated..im sorry

good morning!
I know the Singapore bar will not allow me to practice law locally with the below certifications.

I have a question here. Say, I manage to get a 2nd upper bachelor in law, from ITC, awarded by UOL, what are the career opportunities available? I appreciate any inputs!

Thanks in advance!
