finally someone said something closer to the actual MAS package.
only thing incorrect here is MAS new structure had a pretty high base as it had include aws and certain bonus component in. after added in, the annual is around 14-15 mths package.

Yes, same poster, and the base is really not that high. In general, MAS does not pay thatt well.

14 months w high base vs 16 months w average base.. same same lah
good thing about MAS is they converted a portion of the bonus (2.25 months out of ~4) into fixed monthly salary so when PMO say no mid year / year end bonus, it does not affect them. essentially converting a variable component to a fixed one.

If compared to Temasek obviously not as high la LOL but when compared to most other govt agencies, MAS annual package is way more competitive.

Well the social ministries get paid less than the line ministries ( MTI/MOF)

Sorry if this is random, but will I eventually be able to buy a condo with a normal civil servant salary?

agree with you. and it is always good to get first (every mth) then to wait for bonus. easier when you want to quit. haha

If you say so. But people who compares MAS salary usually does not compare against the rest of the civil service. It's usually MAS vs what's outside, and not MAS vs MOE/ MTI for eg
