Umm, I’ve been getting very good grades. So I think my pay technically should be higher than average performers? But not sure by how much higher. Maybe 100-200 more only haix

I am in my mid 30s and am in the private sector.
I am currently drawing close to the ceiling of MX10 and am pretty sure I will exceed MX10's ceiling with my next increment. However, work life balance has been tough and I am seriously considering switching to the civil service. Am willing to take a 10% pay cut if necessary.
A few questions:
1. I understand MX9 is superscale, is it possible to enter as a superscale when I haven't spent a single day in civil service? I am pretty confident my skills in the private sector are transferable.
2. What kind of roles/titles should I look out for that will tell me that it's likely a MX10 or MX9 role? This will prevent me from spending unnecessary time applying for roles which are lower than my salary expectation.
