Farmer usually hentak kaki at MX10. The salary range for MX10 is from 7k to 11k. It depends at which point you get promoted to MX10. The last 10 yrs of your career (around mid-50s) or in your 40s. The later you get promoted, the more likely your salary is closer to the upper range of the MX10 ceiling. The earlier, the lower end of the range...

There are another post saying year 6 already 6.2k. How would that possible that at age 40 to mid 50s earning around 7-11k? The early progression is so much faster??

Yes, most will progress slow after 6 to 8 years.

Exactly...by around 10 years in CS it'll be too late to switch to the private sector with that kind of pay so most just end up staying for life...and HR knows this so promotion after 40 is very very slow...maybe like once in 10 or 15 years...
