Hi, I am currently working 8months down in civil service line doing accounting related job. But I wish to apply to banks middle office. Anyone know what are the chances are?
Should I apply directly to the analyst programme or internship programme first? I hold both accounting and finance degree.

Was from a stat board in diploma scheme. MI depends on your CEP and grade, generally it is between 2-4%. PB quantum as follows:
C - 0.85
C+ - 1.25
B - 1.5
They will not automatically upgrade you once you received your degree. Most HR will say it depends on your CEP, performance and your boss's recommendation.
Public service pays mid year bonus (Jul), end year bonus (Dec), 13th month bonus (Dec) and PB (in end-Mar)

Hi, I just joined a stat board at 2 grades above entry level and taking $6k and my grade's ceiling is $6660. Joined in Nov 2017, the prorate PB is ~1.85 in Dec, I assume is C+ grade. What are the chances of getting a promotion in Apr 2019 if I can get a B grade for this year's work?

On average, don't quote me.
Year 1: 3.5k
Year 2: 3.9k
Year 3: 4.5k (Promotion)
Year 4: 4.8k
Year 5: 5.2k
Year 6: 6k (Promotion)
Slightly above average performer. You might get more or less of course, but that's the general trend. Do ask around for validation.
