It depends on which Ministry/SB u go to. Eg. in MTI, fresh grads ie MX13 go in as ADs. The job title is inflated. For many other agencies Asst Mgr = MX13, Mgr = MX12, SM = MX11, ADs can be MX11 or MX11A. Not all ADs are Heads. Some jr MX11 only hold the job title AD but have no supervisory exp. SADs can be.MX11A or MX10. DD = MX10.
My boss is SAD at MX10. But in my former ministry, my boss was newly promoted to MX10 and made DD immediately. Really depends.

And yes, I got into SB with my masters. They considered me as a fresh grad as they said I am still a student currently.

What type of position will you be working in when you start at the SB? Policy? industry development? Operations?

Maybe they pay you the same salary as what you are getting. Unless you hop over there for higher pay n higher position, if not y want to go over? Aint all the same?
