Can anyone help me understand how MI / confirmation increment works
For example
If I join in Dec 2020
I get a MI in Dec 2020 - is this a confirmation bonus increment?
Will I still get the merit increment in June 2022 (like all others get)
Or since I get in Dec 2021 already June 2022 I won’t get it?

Fellow servants, would like to clarify a few questions.
1. How many years should you stay at a role before exploring secondment?
2. Will your career progression be affected if you go on secondment?

secondment is to add breath. many secondments are for ppl who are already good performers but want breath so most have good career trajectory in the first place.
theres no hard and fast rule. ask ur self why go secondment? is there no similar role in your agency? am i lacking something that can only be obtained thru secondment?

Mindef pay scale
Hi all I have around 2 years plus work exp.
Currently in a company that pays me >9k per month.
Used to be at a FAANG coy, now IT MNC.
Not sure if mindef will scale to my current pay or higher?
Or I should withdraw my application?
