In the past yes.. many of the rank and file boomer staff that young AOs manage are under the old scheme that lets their entire family enjoy FIRST class travel every year. If I'm not wrong the new scheme that AOs are under are 1x ECONOMY class ticket every year only... and that being a subload ticket.
The benefits are income taxable so if u fly your whole family of 5 on First Class to LA for example then eg $20k x 5 pax gets imputed into your income for income tax purposes.

Unfortunately SIA pays ****.
Source myself, 10 years working in SIA joined after graduation. Now an AM G8 drawing 5.5k with 13 month bonus and 0.25 month profit sharing bonus.
