Currently a professional earning $250pa but I have accumulated a stock and property portfolio which generates aground $150k pa. Planning to retire, live off the passive income flow and focus on bringing up the young one

Are you planning to remarry? Too young to remain single. How do you fulfill your needs? I can't be away from my hubby for more than a couple of days.

Quite hard to achieve on a single income. Did you make it from a big bet in stocks or property?

Nice
I have no doubt that all those figures quoted are largely true, given that Singapore is THE country with the highest percentage of millionaire households in the world (17.1% or every 1 out of 6 people that you meet), with at least USD 1 million disposable assets, excluding their properties.
In the multi-millionaires category (those with at least 30million networth), we are number 3 in the world.
Of course, don't forget there is a difference between self-made millionaire and inheritance. Some people already own a property, or 100k stock portfolio before they start to work.
Now, I got a question. When we say "annual income" such as 250k, 350k etc on this forum, do you all reckon that's the basic salary or bonuses included?? Like the 400k "HR professional" and the guy who made 260k in telco

I assume bonuses and commissions are always included when people quote their annual salaries.

Wife, 42, $108k pa. I earn $172k pa. Total $280k pa. Penthouse and car paid up.
We spend a lot on restaurants, holidays, etc. Enjoying the high life. We don't save much because I will inherit my parents' FH bungalow now worth $10m. So I don't need to save for retirement. My parents were clever to buy a bungalow 40 years ago.

Good that you are debt free. If you are staying with your parents, even better. Free food, lodging, laundry. You are financially independent.

I'm already 40 and I only earn $60k pa. I only own a 5 room HDB flat, still with loan.
Like that how to upgrade to my dream condo in Hillview?
How to make more money?
Should I change job to insurance agent or property agent?
Pease advise. Thanks.
