I have no doubt that all those figures quoted are largely true, given that Singapore is THE country with the highest percentage of millionaire households in the world (17.1% or every 1 out of 6 people that you meet), with at least USD 1 million disposable assets, excluding their properties.

In the multi-millionaires category (those with at least 30million networth), we are number 3 in the world.

Of course, don't forget there is a difference between self-made millionaire and inheritance. Some people already own a property, or 100k stock portfolio before they start to work.

Now, I got a question. When we say "annual income" such as 250k, 350k etc on this forum, do you all reckon that's the basic salary or bonuses included?? Like the 400k "HR professional" and the guy who made 260k in telco
