u need to brush up on your spelling or change the keys on your keyboard...
honestly if u ignore all the troll postings here i think your salary is pretty low and what more you're a NUS grad.... should consider asking for a pay rise or change job.

Since u are one of the lowest paid in your circle, that means you are with the wrong group of people. haha

I am 50 and my wife is 45. Our combined salary is $150k pa. We live in a $1.5m condo, now fully paid up. We bought the condo for $700k in 2006 after selling our HDB flat. I think we are only among the top 25% of earners in Singapore. Our total net worth is $2m, including our home, stocks, CPF. We need to accumulate to $5m before we both can retire.

We both graduated in 2011 from SIM. Fiance and I currently draw about ~180k pa.. exclude bonus .. which for this year should be close to zero .. we both are in fund accounting function of a foreign IB.

I am a stay at home dad. I cook, do laundry, tutor the kids, etc. I spend a lot of time with the kids, teaching them. I have decided to take a few years of break to personally coach my kids to ensure they go to the the gifted program and to top schools. I was a top student myself so i am the best person to do this. This is a big sacrifice on my part as i was a senior manager, earning $300k pa. However, i think this sacrifice will be worth it as i can always go back to office work after a few years. My wife is still work earning $200k pa. My investment properties gives me a net income of $100k pa. Our annual expenses is only $90k pa, so financially it is not a big problem. My properties are all fully paid.
