25, just graduated from NUS comp sci. Software engineer, all in 48k per annum. Is my salary ok?

Average doctors/lawyers can easily push 240k PA at 35. Can't say the same for average workers in other industries.
Won't say those peers are underachieving, but they are at least average (which is already better off than "average" people in other professions.)

As an average guy in an average MNC, don’t think I will reach 100k by 30 and 240k by 35…
Have a decent degreee and all but I guess nowhere near to all the high flyers.

I will probably reach 130k by age 35. Dont think will ever exceed 200k.
However I only work 6.5hrs per day. No working on weekends and no OT.
|

Operational role in commodities. It may be deemed on the lower end compared to many who have achieved more. But important to be happy with what you already have.
