Btw, it is not that I don't like the public system. I have just heard that there's a lot of office politics involved... I may not be good at those. Opening a private clinic, less office politics involved... Thanks.
??? What this preoccupation about c or SC.

Some specialities cannot survive in private.
Eg are your infectious disease because they are a consultancy service. On the other hand , cardio, derm and gastro can survive better in private.
Rhi, endocrine in-between.
Aiyah..very common to see the private patient come polyclinic to get referral to hospital for subsidized rate. Even if u charge 100 bucks for consultation( cheap) , it's the meds that's expensive and patient will not come

In general people do NOT want to pay for healrhcare. Will always go for cheaper options. Cheaper to the point -->FREE.
Who wants to pay to hear doctor tell them got to go on dialysis for life or transplant? Or some neurological problem no cure eg MS ALS Parkinsons.
Far better to work in finance. Sell hope of making big money. Can cheat and fraud to the tune of $1billion! In medicine no doctor can ever cheat to the level of $1b.
Stay away from medicine if you want to make money.

Actually what is your f problem? Harping on and on about finance being the way to make money. U compare a doctor job to a finance cheater. Sure.
The reality is while doctors don't make bank, it's a comfortable salary and there's nothing wrong with asking about salary.

Because you doctors are hypocrites. Talk about want to help people but deep down just want to make money. Ptui!

Who do you think should be paid more? A surgeon who removes your cancer or a banker who manages M&A?

Banker making decisions that affect hundreds of millions of dollars if not billions hence affecting thousands if not millions of people. Surgeon removing cancer if screw up only kills ONE person. No fight. Even airline pilot decision making more important than surgeon as it can affect hundreds of lives.
