Yes this is true. Can just ask your MOs if you want to confirm current situation.
In the past you used to have to get one of the postgraduate qualifications or similar to get the $500 clinical allowance as an MO. This changed around 2019 if I don't remember wrongly such that all MOs get the clinical allowance regardless of whether they have gotten the MRCS/MRCP/etc.

Wah no more? I guess those exams are too easy. Almost everyone passes.
SG prob need to set their own specialist exams. No need to do UK exams anymore.

Does this mean once I turn MO I will be automatically get paid additional $500?

Now you need 2.5mil.
40 years ago, they do eod calls.
60 years ago, they dont even go home
So ur 20 years ago is no biggie

3 MOs 1 go on leave is eod calls.
Just saying 4 calls a month is really quite light. Dont you think so?

I was always for shift work. Teams that work 8 to 12h.
Eliminate calls.
