I think it’s only students/fresh grads who are bitter. People who have worked anywhere know it’s pointless to compare - just be happy whatever you do! I work in an international firm and nobody I know looks down or feels sorry for Singapore grads (any more than anyone feels sorry for Ugandan or Mongolian Lawyers) - they’re just another local counsel to them that they work with to get deals over the line.
When there’s actually work in front of you, it’s just a waste of time to engage in needless comparisons or ego strokes. Everyone has their different areas of expertise.

Enough ink has been spilt about the pay at international firms, Big 4 and top mid-sized firms. What about the pay at ordinary mid-sized firms and small firms? What are the salary benchmarks for NQ, 1Q, 2Q, 3Q, 4Q and 5Q at these places? I'm sure many of us plebians would like to know.

A. Look up firm profile - find your underperforming school. See if they will hire from in the name of being 'incredibly diverse'. Maybe also look up the number of Asians.
B. Read the news on Covid furlough season. I doubt someone like you actually reads the news. Is it a bear market or is it a bull market? Do you also live under a rock? Or maybe you are bitter about retrenchment and pay cut prospects. Please also read Brexit and May. Those will help you to understand the context of the hiring landscape, seeing as you seem quite uneducated.
C. You have neither proved nor disproved what I have said. Did you provide any solid stats in asserting the above is a 'lie'?
D. Even if we were to give you the benefit of the doubt, what are the chances of (a) an Asian (b) from a non-red brick that is lower tier (c) getting a job in the UK? I would surmise that even at a healthy estimate of 10%, it is NOT WORTH 200K.
I'll have to shoot the statement back at you - stop lying about prospects in an attempt to make yourself feel better about being 'diverse'. You are misleading impressionable JC/Poly students.
And for the record, yes I have. They are mostly Oxbridge London. 'Diversity' is a recent concept. But then again, you may want to bring up your disparate example of how "I have a friend at X firm". Moron.

Doubt you have even set foot in an international firm before or you’d know their graduate makeup is incredibly diverse.

L m a o. Look who's lying in an attempt to shore up her self-esteem. The resolution to this is easy - you have not provided a shred of empirical fact, and only your subjective observation on diversity.
(A) Read firm profiles. You will understand that 'diverse' means under-represented.
(B) While you are at it, count Asians.
(C) Let's give you the benefit of the doubt since 'O i know someone from my diverse school who works there'. If this is 5-10%, is it worth 200K? Moron.
