Eh pls lah, quick search will show you Lynn from NUS. Sure you are a lawyer? Can anyone confirm LSE? Heard mummers from some who are from the upper echelons and seem to know the disgraces personally. I wonder why they are not publicly disavowing any connections any possibility the remainder well connected to judges?

"To me the elephant in the room is how they were treated and given a second chance where Nagen was not. Broadly speaking, they were of the same age as Nagen when Nagen was first arrested in 2009, and I do not agree that these people have high rehabilitative capacity whilst Nagen does not"

The article also mentions Lee Kuan Yew's criticism of the legal fraternity for being lax in disciplining its members and warning about the need to uphold the profession's integrity."

We can criticize their lack of integrity but this is not classy. Why attack other unrelated aspects of their personal lives? How do such videos show that they lack remorse ? When were these videos even taken? They are just partaking in activities enjoyed by normal young people?

Commenting about privilege is also rather rich (pun intended) considering that a large proportion of lawyers, the majority even, come from comfortable middle class or relatively affluent backgrounds.

I’m surprised that on this forum, everyone is just shaming others and advocating their self interests, but no one is talking about the recent news on the hanging of the intellectually disabled man and another drug offender who is about to hang tomorrow. They were unrepresented. Are there really no lawyers out here who would help?
