So excited to experience the OT life and midnight OTs. Hopefully got chiobu in my team and we can OT together and analyse each other in the office

Agreed. After you work 1 year you will start to question.
1) why am I only one who have OT all the time.
2) why someone else who never OT get promoted.
3) why I have to do everything.
4) why my senior who is higher paid just push everything to me.
5) why I work so hard performance doesn't match
6) why I don't do any work at work just eat snake I also get paid
7) why I am not punished if I come in late can keep coming in late
8) why I can get away with ******** and don't really have to do the work like it's exam?
9) why I feel like an impostor
10) why I quit tech

No life. No family. No wife. No children.
So OT or nothing to do.
Wait until get married etc. You'll realise not enough after work time...

Shouldnt it already be known that working hard isnt the way to get promotions? You have to know how to wayang and bootlick bosses. Get into their good books. Learn how to present stuff. Claim credit for other people work by saying you guided them/mentored them.

Everyone i know who has gotten promoted, did so by not sloughing through long hours of work
They worked smart and presented well. Very personable and knows how to behave in front of different groups of audience.

Aiya it's like first year first day of 4years uni.
You can see the fresh grad dress up nice nice. Early. Come lecture etc.

After 1 week
Come late liao.
Never dress up. Wear sloppy as ****.
Git time rush back hall to relax. Not going to hang around in school...

By final year already can't wait to leave student life...

Imagine that but tech life is Foever. Uni life for 4 years x 7
Never ending grind..
